Jan Takeko Yokota, 67, of Hilo, died June 21 at home. Born in Osaka, Japan, she was a retired 5th grade teacher who taught at Laupahoehoe, Mountain View and Keaau elementary schools and member of Hawaii State Teachers Association-Retired and National Education Association.
